| Using Color Wax Sticks | |
| 1) Make sure scratched or dented area is clean of debris and splinters. 2) If necessary, pre-color damaged area with supplied touch-up stain. 3) Fill in damaged area by rubbing supplied wax stick both across and with the grain. 4) Level and smooth built-up wax area with a straight edge or credit card. 5) Remove excess wax with soft, clean cloth. 6) Replace grain pattern using a fine tip marker or graining pen. (Pen not included) 7) Seal repaired area with supplied clear lacquer. |

| Using Stain & Lacquer | |

with your furniture first aid kit is a bottle of stain, matching your furniture color, and a bottle of clear lacquer. If your finish is antiqued, a bottle of antique finish is supplied. The caps to these bottles have small brushes attached for easy application. 1) Make sure the surface to be touched-up is clean. 2) Before opening, shake stain bottle well and blot excess stain off brush before applying. 3) Blend and feather stain on problem area and let dry for 10 minutes. 4) If you want to darken area by adding antique, you must first apply a light coat of clear lacquer and let each coat dry completely. (It is better to build-up the color with thin layers) |
